Take a Day to Volunteer
There are many ways to volunteer for the synagogue’s daily operations.
In addition to participating in a synagogue committee, we also invite you to consider volunteering your time and talents to help make our congregation a better, such as:
Social Engagement

Office Assistance
- Office phone and door duty on Sunday mornings when religious school is in session
- Sorting files and other materials in storage
- Distributing fliers and posters in the immediate area
Cooking/Meal Assistance
- Distributing food for the Jewish holidays to the community in need
- Preschool food pickup when staff are unavailable
- Cooking and delivering food for community meal trains
- Cooking/setup for Kiddush services, barbecues, and holiday events such as Pizza in the Hut during Sukkot and the Shushan Cafe during Purim
Special Event Assistance
- Help set up and staff events such as the Purim Carnival and concerts
- Deliveries for Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day)
- Pick-up of donations such as food for ARK drives
Miscellaneous
