There are many ways to show your support for Temple Har Zion – from supporting our Temple to helping others through our social action efforts.
Temple Har Zion has relied on the care and generosity of our community to help us grow and provide the best home for our members. Our community has helped sustain our historic building, commission our Gropper windows, renovate our sanctuary, raise funds to add accessibility to the building, beautify our space, add a chapel, create a fund to ensure the synagogue’s continued financial success, and so much more.
Every gift makes a difference. Your donations enable us to continue providing a welcoming home, helping you on your journey, and inspiring you toward living a rewarding Jewish life.

2023 Terrace Rebuild Completed
Carol & Hai Solomon graciously provided the support for a needed complete rebuild of our front terrace – recently dedicated as the Solomon Terrace & Gardens. Completed in the summer of 2022, this beautiful new gathering place has become the preferred spot for “Friday Night is a Delight” Musical Shabbat services. With the added space, we are able to set up the Lieb Family Sukkah on the terrace for wonderfully connected and inspiring Sukkot celebrations. The Solomon Terrace & Gardens will also be available for other events and celebrations (bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings, social events, etc.) If you have not had the opportunity to see the new terrace, please make a point of stopping by!
Musical Shabbat matching funds challenge
Temple Har Zion is raising funds to increase our monthly Musical Shabbat from once a month to twice a month for the 2022-23 season. This popular program is a hallmark of our community. With your support, we hope to be able to continue and expand these lively services filled with singing, dancing and celebration. This family-friendly service is open to the anyone who wishes to come and is a wonderful way to celebrate Jewish tradition and forge personal connections. As our community grows, the temple wants to ensure this program is available and accessible to all members.
We invite you to make a donation online in support of our Musical Shabbat services. Under ‘Payment Details’ click on ‘Type’ and scroll down to choose Musical Shabbat.
