4th Annual Shofar in the Park

During the month of Elul, the last month of the Jewish calendar, the shofar is blown every morning at minyan.

In honor of this, Temple Har Zion presents “Shofar in the Park,” a stroll from the temple to Scoville Park, where we will enjoy the shofar and ice cream.

Walk with us or meet us at the park. Bring your family and friends. We will walk slowly and enjoy each other’s company along the way. We will sing together and prepare our hearts for this most precious and sacred time of the year.

This year, we will have special activities for our youngest children at the park.

Maimonides teaches that the Shofar is the blast that wakes us up to spiritual alertness for a sweet and good new year!
